Sunday at haven
I’m in a cafe on a Sabbath day;
With no church in sight to kneel and pray,
I really miss church, its my spiritual food;
And I’m sitting with the footie on with men in a mood.
People are worrying about getting their dinner;
Shouting at the footie about who’ll be the winner,
I feel for these people who arn’t thinking twice;
About saying a prayer or even being nice!
I’m watching them all thinking of their belly;
With a fork in their hands and glued to the telly,
I wanna get up and share my gift;
But if I try whilst the footie is on, they’ll all get really miffed.
So i will say a prayer for all that are lost;
Co’s for them to be saved, after all there’s no cost,
But there all to busy to listen to me;
I pray that they would as this gift is free!
