My Nan
Mary Inglesby is her name;
She sits in her room going insane,
her breathing problems are really bad;
We sit and watch and it makes us real sad.
She's got osteoporosis which causes her pain;
Sitting there watching telly over and again,
Waiting for someone to pop in and gab;
And chatting to her is absolutely fab.
It breaks my heart to visit then leave;
And as I go; she struggles to breath,
I have to leave and go home to Mark;
I just wish I could stay until past dark.
She is strong at heart; weak in body and mind;
But she is the most lovely Nan you will ever find,
o what I’m saying is you are the best;
I am just so sorry that your son makes us stressed.
