An abandoned church
I live by a church thats boarded and locked;
It's a beautiful building that should be open not mocked.
Once a church closes down it wont open again;
But I will try my best to open the doors, evenif it causes me pain.
S.t Pauls church on liscard road standing very proud;
I just need some money to open it up a get in a good crowd.
Maybe it's the Lord prompting me to do this job;
Co's he knows my personality and that av got a big gob.
A building like this should be being used;
But instead it sits there being abused.
By kids hanging round and vandalising graves;
I'm sure when they do it God get's shock waves.
It's wrong to leave a church all locked up and left;
When it is needed by people with problems and theft.
They need to know there's a place were their loved;
To come together in prayer, and be equals not be judged!
A church is important for all age and race;
A sanctuary with love a family a place.
Were where all the same in god's precious eyes;
And if people get saved imagine their suprise!
